With BFC Associates new Layout and Designer Services Program, we have taken the "im" out of impossible and replaced it with a scheduled and sure fire way to check on and improve the health of even the sickest layout.

BFC Associates created a group of programs to improve Food Distribution warehouse efficiency using the Dakota Series WMS systems. As a spin off of the WMS, BFC has created Layout Designer programs that we use when setting up a new facility and checking for layout issues. Layout Designer has proven invaluable for monitoring availability of the right type of slots, getting chemicals and cooler items in the right locations, checking for slot types against manufacturers tie/highs, and visually looking at the facility.

With all of these capabilities, we are now offering our services to help you automate this process and formulate a method for constantly improving the facility layout. The benefits of a reviewing your layout can be substantial.

BFC will create the initial "base" layout and provide a review of the first reports customized to your facility. In addition this will provide you with an on-going quarterly reporting capability at a fraction of a one time set up.

By providing BFC with a listing of your current pick slots using a standard ASCII file or Excel spreadsheet format along with slot sizes and pick slot quantity when full, we can create your warehouse in simulation.
