Manager/Director of Professional Services

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Manager/Director of Professional Services to lead and execute service delivery for our clients. This individual will be responsible for ensuring seamless project execution, resource management, and strategic customer engagement to maximize the value of our solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, SaaS implementation, and customer-facing roles within a professional services or customer success organization.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, ensuring clear scope, roles, and expectations.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Resource Coordination
- Allocate internal and external resources to projects based on skillset, availability, and priority.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and customer success, to drive successful implementations.
- Manage and optimize team utilization to ensure efficiency in service delivery.

Statement of Work (SOW) Creation & Pricing
- Define the scope of professional services engagements and develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to price services competitively and accurately.
- Ensure contract terms align with customer expectations and internal delivery capabilities.

Customer Engagement & Representation
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the implementation phase.
- Represent the Professional Services team in executive-level customer meetings.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience by proactively addressing issues and driving successful outcomes.

Technical Facilitation & Customization Support
- Support customers with test environments, platform configurations, and solution customizations.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements.
- Ensure proper testing and validation before solution deployment.

Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in professional services, project management, or SaaS implementations.
- Strong understanding of software deployment, integrations, and enterprise solutions.
- Experience managing customer relationships in a consultative capacity.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with SaaS, ERP, logistics, supply chain, or enterprise software is a plus.
-PMP, Six Sigma, or other project management certifications are a plus.

Expected Deliverables – First 90 Days
- Document and organize all open and planned customer services projects
- All resources (technical and customer facing project team) mapped and reconciled
- Memorialize all key process, time to deliver, contingencies, and responsible parties
- Establish MVP of all Professional Services packages (SKUs) and associated pricing
- Standardize customer engagement milestones, critical updates and communication protocols
- Establish deep command of Salesforce reporting, Smartsheets and process/product mapping
